The Flossmoor Community Relations Commission is pleased to be coordinating the 4th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on January 15, 2018. Last year over 500 hundred community residents, groups, and businesses donated their time and resources to local charitable organizations through service projects. Over a dozen organizations made connections with the community including Respond Now, PADS, South Suburban Family Shelter, Forest Preserves of Cook County, JourneyCare Kids Who Care, and Flossmoor Service League.

Local non-profit organizations are invited to host a service project. In addition, community groups and businesses are invited to host a service project on behalf of a non-profit organization. You provide the project and we will connect you to volunteers. We will promote your project, and direct interested volunteers to you. Last year most of the 15 projects welcomed first-time volunteers.
