The Village of Flossmoor invites you to dive into the wonders of nature at OAKtoberfest, set for Saturday, Oct. 4. The Village will offer a full day of celebrating nature, trees and community spirit with activities for all ages. Admission is free!

10 a.m.-1 p.m. OAKTOBERFEST @ FLOSSMOOR PARK (2523 Flossmoor Road)

• Rock Climbing Wall
• Facepainting
• Native Plant Sale with Possibility Place
• Nature Crafts with H-F High School volunteers
• Guided Tree Walk at 10 a.m. with Village Arborist Dave Becker (meet at Park Place building)
• Nature Stories at 11 a.m. with the Flossmoor Public Library 
• Magic Bubble Show at Noon
• Sculpture Tour at 1 p.m. with the Flossmoor Public Art Commission (meet at corner of Vardon & Flossmoor Road)
• Juancho's Taco Truck
• Kona Ice
