The Fire & Police Departments respond to businesses' professional alarms to keep them safe. New systems require a permit for installation through the Building Department. Established systems require an annual $50 usage fee, due by April 15 each year. Alarm holders are permitted up to two false alarms annually. Starting with the third false alarm, there is a graduated fee scale. This new fee structure will help cover important services provided by the Fire and Police Departments throughout the year.
