Flossmoor Fest returns! Flossmoor Fest has been a tradition in Flossmoor since 1999. Join us after the Hidden Gem Half Marathon starting at noon on September 11 for fun in Downtown Flossmoor.
Schedule of Activities on the Main Stage:
Noon - Fest soft open with music by Evolution
1 p.m. - Opening Ceremony with Mayor Michelle Nelson and the Board of Trustees and the Homewood-Flossmoor Marching Band
1:30 p.m. - Jesse White Tumblers
2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Cielito Lindo
4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Not My Dad
6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. - Feel Good Party Band
8 p.m. – Barrels of Hope Auction
8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m - Dynamic Sound Band
Children's Activities on Central Drive
This year, all of the children's activities will be in Downtown Flossmoor along Central Drive and in Leavitt Park. Children's rides begin at 2 p.m.
2 p.m. to 7 p.m. - Children's rides, including jump houses, bungee run, and 90-foot fun slide
2 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Kiddie train on Leavitt Avenue
4 p.m. - Exotic Animal Show
4 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Thomas Photographic Photo Booth
4 p.m. to 7 p.m. - Walk Around Magic
4 p.m. to 7 p.m. - Glitter tattoos at the Community Relations Commission booth
Activities for All Ages
The video game truck rolls onto Flossmoor Road at 2 p.m. and will stay until 7 p.m.
BMX rider Matt Wilhelm will showcase a street trick demonstration starting at 5 p.m.
Bring your appetite! Flossmoor Station, Dunning's Market, Bistro and Sterling and Siam Thai will be selling food and beverages on Sterling all day.
