Flossmoor resident and Homewood-Flossmoor High School alum Fredric
Mitchell has a vast experience as a software engineer, from working with non-profit organizations and the education sector, to sharing his expertise with corporate IT and government groups. He’s also spent much of his personal life making an impact in the Homewood and Flossmoor communities as a past president of Flossmoor Baseball and Softball, as a member of the Anti-Racism Committee at Flossmoor Community Church, and as a board member of the Homewood Science Center.
Mitchell works as a freelance Drupal Developer and is the Principal at Bright Plum, Inc., a boutique web development and tech consulting agency.
During his career, Mitchell has presented at a number of tech conferences throughout the United States and Costa Rica, and is a regular contributor to Drupal software open source communities. Mitchell holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
