George Lofton

George was appointed to the position of Village Trustee in 2020 and elected to a two-year unexpired term in 2021. His current term will last until 2027.

George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from Chicago Technical College in Chicago. George started Lofton & Associates, a business development consulting firm, after retiring as the Vice President of Economic Development and External Affairs from Commonwealth Edison (ComEd). George is a senior member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Chicago Heights Alumni Chapter. He also served on the Board of Trustees for Roosevelt University and First National Bank in Chicago Heights.

George and his wife, Felecia, have three daughters: Hillary, Heather and Hailey. They have lived in Flossmoor since 2005.
